Casper Ravn-Sørensen – don’t underestimate offline marketing power

Milena Duric Social media

It is of course, very important to have an online marketing strategy. The vast majority of people use internet for informing and buying online. And you should find your place among a certain audience you have chosen to speak to.

But what about offline marketing? Has it died out?

According to statistics, 68 % of e-buyers reported to have no problem when purchasing online.

But what is with the rest of the people?

There are still 32% of people that experience certain problems when using internet services.

What should we do with that information? Should we just neglect their existence and continue focusing mainly on online marketing procedures?

Casper Ravn-Sørensen wouldn’t advise it!

What are offline marketing strategies?

Do you remember the pamphlets that you used to get from every single company or restaurant?

It shouldn’t be a thing of the past. You should add it to your marketing strategy! If you are a startup founder, before developing online and before going international, it is important for you to tell your locality that you are there.

  • Your locality should be aware of your existence. And the way to do it is by making pamphlets and business cards that you can give away to all the people that might be interested in your company.
  • Poster campaigns through stores can create great response, as well as other offline activities such as leaflet drops in papers or postcards.

Offline marketing strategies are making a huge comeback now in 2017 since everyone wants to be different. And needs to be different in order to attract the majority of the audience.

Liking and sharing

Of course it is important for you to create a website where you will post your unique content. It is more than important for your company to have a special place in the online world, since, well, everyone has their place in the online world! But what about the excess of information that all the people in the online world are exposed to?

People are reading, liking and sharing. But can they remember everything they have liked and shared? Not exactly.

That is why offline marketing strategy plays a significant role in today’s world.

If you create your own offline world where you can present your idea, people will come to recognize you even out of the digital world you have put your signature in.

Discounts and loyalty programs

You can send gift cards to people’s addresses, offer them an online discount that they can print and bring to your shop (considering you have one). There are also various offline loyalty programs that have special offers for customers that have purchased something a certain amount of times. For example, if you are an owner of the bus line, you can offer a free ticket to any destination for every 10th ticket that has been bought from you. In that way, you will gain customer loyalty, and people will remember your offline service rather than some article that you have written and sent in your newsletter.

If you encompass offline and online marketing strategy, it will only bring benefits to your marketing strategy. For example, adding a funny TV advertisement everyone is going to talk about, and then getting a free word-of-mouth marketing with your good service.

If you are not sure how to do any of these steps, or you just want to find out more, don’t hesitate to contact Casper Ravn-Sørensen personally, or read his blog to find out more about his own vision.
